Atmosphere has been around for quite a while, so they have an incredibly diverse discography. This discography is composed of 12 Studio Albums, 2 Compilation Albums, 1 Internet Album, 10 EPs, 18 Singles, and 13 Sad Clown/Bad Dubs.

We could spend years discussing the artist’s many album efforts. But instead, let’s look at the albums that led to Atmosphere becoming a popular and known force in the music industry.

Studio Albums

  • Overcast! : Released August 5, 1997. This album is an extended version of the Overcast! EP and was released under the, then recently formed Rhymesayers label. This album was also the last to feature D-Spawn, who left the group three years after release.
  • God Loves Ugly : Released on June 11, 2002. This second album peaked at #139 on US Billboard 200 charts and #43 on the US R&B charts. IT was also the first studio album to feature Slug and Ant as the only two members of the group.
  • Seven’s Travels : REleased the following year on September 23, 2003 was when the group started reaching their stride. This album broke into the top 100 on US Billboard 200 peaking at #83. It also peaked at #58 on the US R&B charts and #5 on the US Independent Albums charts
  • You Can’t Imagine How Much Fun We’re Having : Released on October 4, 2005. This album is notable for being Atmosphere’s first #1 hit as it peaked at #1 on the US Independent Albums charts. It also reached #66 on the Billboard 200 and #55 on the US R&B Albums charts.
  • When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold : Released on April 22, 2008. This was undeniably Atmosphere’s most successful album up to that point. As the album peaked #5 on the Billboard 200, #13 on the US R&B Albums chart, and #2 on the US Independent Albums chart.
  • The Family Sign : Released on April 12, 2011 continued the trend of success. As this album reached #13 on the US Billboard 200, #3 on the R&B Albums chart, and #2 on the US Independent Albums chart.
